Tricolor products have one advantage that few categories have: the purchase price is so low that the shelf price is dictated by perceived value, not by cost. What does not sell on 1 December is not thrown away: it remains for 24 January and for the national team's first match. The margin is calculated annually, not per event.

5. How to customize them and combine them with sublimation
If you have a customization workshop, ready-made tricolor products are only half the story. The other half is what you can produce yourself, with a tricolor design, on the sublimation blanks you already have. A customer who comes for 50 rosettes for the company often leaves with 50 mugs with a logo and tricolor as well.
What is customized from the tricolor collection
- The metal keychain with tricolor cords has a 2 cm engraving area on both sides: company logo on one side, year or name on the other. Suitable for laser or mechanical engraving.
- The set of 10 sublimation flags (white polyester, 30 cm stick) is printed with any design: tricolor with logo, the coat of arms of the locality, the team name. It is the product with which town halls and clubs make their own flags at a cost of under 1 lei each.

We deliver from our own stock, within 24 hours for orders placed by 3:00 PM, by courier, in 1-2 business days throughout Romania. Even so, in the last week of November couriers are busy and some products sell out. The plan below removes the risk.
Order the full stock for National Day, Unity Day, and the first matches of the following year. You have time to display the merchandise, take the photos for online, and receive orders from schools and institutions, which are usually decided at the beginning of November.
See what sold from the October stock and replenish. Orders placed by November 20 arrive with a comfortable margin before the demand peak of November 27-30.
Bucket hat, sunglasses, fans, keychains, and pins for tourists. The summer season starts on June 1 and lasts until mid-September, with Flag Day and Anthem Day in the middle.
The national team schedule is known in advance. With delivery in 24 hours, you can order one week before the match and have the merchandise in the window several selling days ahead.
7. Common mistakes with tricolor products
You order on November 28
The most common mistake. The goods arrive on the 30th, you do not have time to display them, and the customers have already bought from somewhere else.
✅ Fix: the main order in October, the replenishment by November 20.
You treat them as December 1 products
After December 2, the merchandise disappears from the display case and sits in the warehouse for 11 months, although on January 24 and at every match it would have sold.
✅ Fix: keep a permanent small display near the register, with pins, car flags, and keychains. Change only the quantity according to the calendar.
You set the shelf price based on cost
A pin costing 1.52 lei and sold for 2.50 lei does not even cover the display time. The customer does not know and does not care about the cost.
✅ Fix: set the shelf price according to perceived value and what other merchants do. The table in chapter 3 is a starting point.
You keep them in a drawer
Tricolor products are impulse buys. If they are not visible from the register, they do not sell.
✅ Fix: eye-level display, next to the cash register, with a large and clear price. At gas stations and car washes, the car flag is mounted on a test window.
You ignore the diaspora and online sales
Romanian communities in Italy, Spain, Germany, and the UK organize December 1 events and have nowhere to buy locally. Few merchants sell them.
✅ Fix: list the products online and on marketplaces starting in October, with international delivery. We deliver throughout the European Union if you want to order directly for an event outside the country.
